Building the Flexible Biologics Factory of the Future

Advancing Formulation and Fill-Finish through Single-Use Technologies

As biologics pipelines diversify and product lifecycles shorten, manufacturers must increase flexibility, accelerate time-to-market, and optimise capital investment. Single-use technologies have become a key enabler, extending beyond upstream and downstream processing into formulation and fill-finish operations.

This presentation explores how advances in single-use technologies are shaping modern formulation and filling suites. By enabling flexible fluid management and streamlined workflows, these solutions simplify facility design, reduce operational complexity, and support rapid product changeovers.

Drawing on industry trends and project experience, the discussion will highlight key design considerations, implementation challenges, and strategies for improving manufacturing agility.
