A new platform for a new phase in bioprocessing

With pride we present the very first issue of Bioprocessing News - the print edition of our online platform. What started digitally as a source of news and background stories now takes on a tangible form. Print offers space for deeper insights, context, and for connecting developments that together shape our field.

In this issue, we featured interviews with four of the event’s keynote speakers: Samanta Cimitan, Karlheinz Landauer, Christoph Herwig, and Moritz von Stosch. Their perspectives illustrate how rapidly bioprocessing is evolving, and how closely data, AI, engineering, and biology are becoming intertwined. This edition also provides an overview of the event program, background information on the initiative, and a selection of the latest developments in bioprocessing and single-use technology.

With Bioprocessing News, we aim to contribute to knowledge sharing and connection within the community. This first issue marks a beginning – and an invitation to move forward together.

Bioprocessing News is published three times a year - next editions will be published shortly before the Single-Use Event.
